Only the recorders that are supported by the current professional audio software can have their pin codes unlocked. For the purposes of this document, the below list of recorders is supported for this process:
- DS-9500
- DS-9000
- DS-7000
- DS-3500
- DS-5500
The PIN unlock process and the tools used are a secure service. Therefore, these tools will not be published publicly nor send to the trading partners or end users.
Procedure for DS-9000 and 9500:
- Power on the recorder.
- After the password input screen is displayed, press hold [F2], [F3] and [+] buttons.
- When the UIN input screen is displayed, enter the UIN code received from the support team.
Procedure for DS-7000, DS-5500 and 3500:
- Power on the target device.
- After the password input screen is displayed, press hold [F1], [F3] and [OK] keys.
- When the UIN input screen is displayed, enter the UIN code retrieving from the support team.
