When launching the System Configuration Program you get the error message “Failed to obtain repository’s management information”
This issue is normally caused by having insufficient permissions to access the SCPConfig.xml file located in C:ProgramDataOlympusODMSR6SystemConfigurationProgram.
Deleting this SCPConfig file may fix the issue as it would recreate the file under the current user. However the issue may occur again if a new user logs in.
Alternatively if you right click the SCP and click Run as administrator this may let you launch the software as well.
We would recommend checking the permissions in the following folders.
1. In the Repository folder ensure the Share Permissions that the group Everyone has Full Control permissions.
2. In the repository folder ensure the security settings that the group Everyone has Full Control permissions.
3. In System Configuration Program folder found in ProgramData ensure that the group Everyone has Full Control permissions.
