Formatting the Memory Card

The below image is what you will use to navigate the menu

• Press “OK/Menu” to open the Menu.
• Press “–” to navigate to the Device Menu and press “OK/Menu”.

• press “–” to scroll down to Format and Press “OK/Menu”.

• Press “+” or “–” to select the card you wish to format and press “OK/Menu”.

• Press “+” to select Start and press “OK/Menu”

• You will get the confirmation appear below

• Press “+” to select Start and Press ““OK/Menu” and this will begin the format process then it will display Format Done.

• Press  to navigate to the Device Menu and press “–” to scroll down to Format and Press “OK/Menu”.

• Press “+” or “–” to select the card you wish to format and press “OK/Menu”.

• Press “+” to select Start and press “OK/Menu”

• You will get the confirmation appear below

• Press “+” to select Start and Press ““OK/Menu” and this will begin the format process then it will display Format Done.

• Press “-” to navigate to the Device Menu and Press “OK/Menu”.

• Press “–” to scroll down to Format and “OK/Menu”

• Press “+” or “–” to select the card you wish to format and press “OK/Menu”.

Note: DS-5500 will display Built-in Memory while DS-5000 will display MicroSD Card

• Press “+” to select Start and press “OK/Menu”

• You will get the confirmation appear below

• Press “+” to select Start and Press “OK/Menu” and this will begin the format process, then it will display Format Done.

• Press “-” to navigate to the Device Menu and Press “OK/Menu”.

• Press “-” to scroll down to Format and “OK/Menu”

• Press “+” to select Start and press “OK/Menu”

• Press “+” to select Start and Press “OK/Menu” and this will begin the format process then it will display Format Done.
