This article will detail how to create a CustomConfig file and a DefaultConfig file.
The Olympus software can be installed using either of the configuration files to ensure that all users will share the same customised settings when they launch the software however, both configuration files are used in different scenarios.
Note: The configuration files only applies to the Olympus software installed in Standalone Mode. CustomConfig File
CustomConfig file are only used in ODMS software deployment with an Olympus volume license in Standalone mode.
How to create a CustomConfig file
- Install the Olympus software.
- Configure the software settings.
- Next export the settings by going to the following location depending on which mode the software was installed in.
- Individual User Mode – C:Users”username””AppDataRoamingOlympusODMSR6DMTMusername.xml
