Where are the Olympus software settings stored?

ODMS standalone gives you two options of selecting how the user settings are saved.

Individual User Settings

ODMS stores the settings in each individual user appdata location, since each user may have different settings.

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Olympus\ODMSR6\DMTM

All Users Settings

ODMS stores the setting in one location on the PC, since every user will share the same settings.

C:\ProgramData\Olympus\ODMSR6\DMTM

 

ODMS Client

ODMS workgroup will get the settings from System Configuration Program hosted on a server in the local environment. The System Configuration Program will be using either the repository folder or repository service, which is typically located on a server in the local network and this can be found in the registry below.

System Configuration Program

The SCP gives you two options of selecting how the user settings are stored.

Repository folder which is a shared location that the users will have access to retrieve the settings.

Repository Service which the users will not have direct access to the folder, but will communicate with the service instead to retrieve the settings.
