Using text correction in ODMS will ensure changes made to the recognized text are updated in the Dragon profile, improving the accuracy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Dragon doesn&#8217;t have to be installed when doing text correction. Dragon is only required when the file goes through Adaptation to learn from the corrections. This is useful for the transcriptionists who doesn&#8217;t have the dragon software installed, they can just correct the document and then send the file back to the author who can then do the adaptation to improve their dragon profile.<\/p>\n<p>The ODMS R8\/R7 supports FTP, which allows for efficient file transfer and management within the system. This functionality is designed to streamline the workflow for dictation and transcription tasks by enabling secure and reliable file transfers between the ODMS components and external servers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4065\" src=\"https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Use-text-correction.gif\" alt=\"Use text correction\" width=\"1234\" height=\"519\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once a file has been transcribed using background speech recognition, you can listen to the audio and read the text on screen to identify any mistakes.
