{"id":1764,"date":"2016-09-21T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-09-21T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/2016\/09\/21\/619-voice-recognition-general-settings\/"},"modified":"2024-04-10T20:55:59","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T20:55:59","slug":"619-voice-recognition-general-settings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/en\/odms-r7\/619-voice-recognition-general-settings\/","title":{"rendered":"Voice Recognition General Settings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This guide goes through how to configure the General settings such as enabling the voice recognition features.<\/p>\n<p>Open the software then click on Tools &gt; Options &gt; Workflow &gt; General<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enable Voice Recognition Features: <\/strong>Tick the box &#8220;Enable Voice Recognition Features&#8221; this will allow you to configure and use the voice recognition functions within the ODMS.&nbsp;<strong>Note<\/strong>:This requires a compatible Dragon NaturallySpeaking software installed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Go to Profile Configuration: <\/strong>This will take you to the Dragon NaturallySpeaking settings to configure the ODMS software to use a Dragon profile. Please follow the guide <a href=\"\/kb\/software\/s-r\/603-dragon-naturallyspeaking-settings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here <\/a>on configuring the Dragon NaturallySpeaking settings.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Adaptation: <\/strong>Tick the box to do Adaptation. This allows the voice recognition engine to adapt the corrections made during transcription to your Dragon profile.
