The home symbol means the files are currently stored locally on your PC within the offline folder.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3301\" src=\"https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/red_crosses_1a.png\" alt=\"red crosses 1a\" width=\"524\" height=\"293\" srcset=\"https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/red_crosses_1a.png 524w, https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/red_crosses_1a-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/red_crosses_1a-18x10.png 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 524px) 100vw, 524px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This problem is caused when the connection to the network location (such as a mapped network drive) has been lost or the path is no longer valid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resolution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a network issue and not related to Olympus software. You may need to speak with your system administrator to resolve this.<\/p>\n<p>To attempt reconnection yourself follow the instructions below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Find the location of the Folder(s) within the Olympus software by going to <strong>Tools<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Options<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Folder Design<\/strong> tab &gt; select the folder with a red cross and look at the <strong>Path. <\/strong>For example, the location shows as <strong>Y:\\Dictation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Open Windows File Explorer and you will see the Y drive with a red cross as the image below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3303\" src=\"https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/red_crosses_2blur.png\" alt=\"red crosses 2blur\" width=\"270\" height=\"271\" srcset=\"https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/red_crosses_2blur.png 270w, https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/red_crosses_2blur-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/audiosupport.omsystem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/red_crosses_2blur-12x12.png 12w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 270px) 100vw, 270px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you click on the drives with red crosses and you have re-established connection the red crosses should disappear, as you can see on the image below.
