If updating does not resolve the problem, see the steps below.\n<ul>\n<li>Browse to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\OLYMPUS\\ODMS_R6\\DM_TM\\OlyCodecFilterSetup.exe<\/li>\n<li>Run the &#8220;OlyCodecFilterSetup&#8221; executable file as a local administrator to manually install the DSS Codec.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Do a clean re-install of the Olympus software with elevated administrator privileges.\n<ul>\n<li>Make a note of the license key within the Help and About software.<\/li>\n<li>Uninstall the Olympus software.<\/li>\n<li>Run DSS Clean tool which can be downloaded <a href=\"https:\/\/omds-support-storage.s3.amazonaws.com\/support-files\/DSSClean.zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Run the command prompt as administrator and enter the following command msiexec.exe \/i &#8220;Path of the msi file&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In some rare instances if you are using a mobile recorder we would recommend try setting the recorder to storage mode as this has known to resolve the issue as well.
